Hi,
(Wednesday Oct. 12th - Head out early for WDW, arrive at POP to check in, go to MK for day + EMH, PS at Crystal Palace for dinner.)

* POP check in time is late I belive 3 0r 4pm. I would just head to the park first. Also witht he price of gas going up everyday, I would think it will cost you more in gas.

From all I have read, people have said their is always a chance that a room is ready, or we can leave our car at the hotel, check our bags in and take the bus over to MK, saving us the parking headache and fee. We are planning a small break back to hotel around 3pm to see our room and let kids swim for a bit. I figured the gas out on the AAA fuel calculator and my brother went last year with the same van as us, so I used his #'s but took into account the increase in cost this year, and that is what it worked out to be. :flower:

How come you are only going to 2 parks? I personally wouldn't want to miss AK or Epcot but that's just me. :confused3

I would love to visit AK & Epcot, but money is an issue, we couldnt stay 4 nights at a resort and the only reason we are able to go this fall at all is because my parents need our help in bringing some stuff down to their new house in Ocala and we wanted to see it. MY DD and I have done all the parks, and my husband is not crazy on disney like me, although hes never been, :confused3 So Im lucky im getting two days at all to visit, he would rather spend the money on an air boat ride or something! Which we might squeeze in somewhere. But im hoping he likes it enough to want to return again in the next couple years! :earboy2:

I would do 3 days at disney then and park hop between parks. You don't need to stay at the resort in order to go to the parks though.

You can definately check-in early in the morning. If a room is not ready they will give you a phone number to call later in the day to get your room number.
