Shadow8,
Glad that you have found something that you like. I just wanted to reinforce the golden rules when booking a home :
1. Each and every home must be licensed by DBPR. Make sure the home you are staying in is.
2. Make sure that the home you are renting is serviced by a reputable management company. If you have a problem during your stay you must have someone who is local to contact.
3. Do your homework; check MC's credentials with Better Business Bureau, Chamber of Commerce, CFPMA and any other body you can think of.
4. Beware of companies offering ridiculously low prices. Some companies do offer bargains but follow rules 1-3 and you should be OK.
5. Make sure the home is fully equipped and is suitable for your needs. Many companies offer a generic house on their website....not the actual house you stay in. Make sure this house has what you want.
6. If location is important to you, make sure you know the address you are staying at. If you post the community on here, folks will tell you how close it is to the parks orthe places you want to visit.
