When we go on vacation, I like to put together goodie bacgs for the kids. I need some ideas. I am drawing a blank this time. I guess because the kids are getting older. We have 2 girls 9 & 10 and a son that's 12.
Any suggestions would be great. Oh by the way, we are going in July if that helps with suggestions.

THANKS!!

Maybe some inflatable balls for the pools, some pins to trade, mad libs books are great if you drive, sunglasses and some small disney candy treats.

We are doing this for all of our 5 and I have been picking up small things here and there since Christmas-
I have 4 boys ages 7,10,16, & 17 and one girl age 12
Very hard for the older kids but I have managed to find quite a bit for my DD w/ Fairies just coming out- (she is not into HSM or Camprock at all)-
you could do a few Disney themed pens/markers- sunglasses (Disney or not), a ball cap, beach fishing style hat, magnets, stickers, disney dollars, a mini phone book, a journal, autograph books, pressed penny tubes (m&m tubes w/ quarters and pennies), lanyards for pins/tickets,etc, candy (always), Disney lip balm (avon or wal-mart), fanny packs w/ disney characters on them, a tote (can be the "goodie bag" to add everything to), Disney towel for the pool, think of what your kids like or will need while there and then decide of the character or movie they enjoy most and find items that coincide... I would check Target (loads in dollar section as well as Dollar Tree- (also lots of Disney stuff)-
For the magnets & stickers go to the Creative Design board- they will make you about anything you can imagine and all you have to do is print it out on magnet paper, iron on transfer paper, sticker paper, etc and you take care of the rest! I also have shirts I made for my kids through that board! They are amazing over there!

Well what do they like? For the girls I'd suggest some Disney Princess, or Minnie Mouse things. For your son, maybe POTC things? You could get them little notebooks with pens, maybe some things to use whilst your getting there. (coloring books, etc). Might I also suggest maybe mini hand-held games. There is many small games you could put into a goodie bag which are not too pricey. Such as Tamagotchi's(virtual pets). You could also buy some puzzles or word games. Maybe some little trinkets here and there. Goodluck!

Here are some ideas:

* disposable or underwater camera

* swim goggles / sunglasses

* flip flops

* jibbitz if they croc

* pins for trading / lanyard

* photo album

* disney $$ or gift card for arcade or shopping

* blank charm bracelet if they would be interested in buying/collecting charms at WDW (there are dangle and slide charms all over WDW)

* snacks!

* surprise tix for DisneyQuest or waterpark

* frame for favorite ride or meal photo

Something to keep them cool in July!
- Misty Mate, pocket fan, mister fan, etc.

New backpacks/slings
- Maybe something they can use for school

Wristlets for the girls to hold their park pass/money
New wallet for your son

Chapstick with a spf

Purell on a clip

Ponchos

Matching shirts

Fun socks

Glow stuff

Disney flip flops

Word games- word finds- sudoku books
- pocket sized for waiting on lines

Something that hasn't been mentioned before is tattoos..I packed different ones for where we were going in Disneyworld (Animals-AK, Princess-MK). My girls ages 7 and 11 and they love them! Sparkles are always fun, can usually get some at Claires (not sure if you have one near you). Glow sticks from the $1 store. Have fun planning for your trip!

The girls prolly at the age to like body glitter type stuff maybe a small bottle of pefume just make sure it's something you all can live with. Nail polish, finger nail stickers. New earrings if their ears are periced Bows an barettes for hair pony tail holders etc

I seen 2 packs of disney card games at everything a dollar store here the other day. Various games.

Boys are harder I didn't have boys till gsons came along an they still toddlers.

Are cool shoe laces still in? Those squishy type toys with the stuff in them boys tend to like those.

Disposable cameras, money for the arcades, disney dollars, pins for trading if they like that. Hidden mickey book. Pennies and quarters for pressed pennies and the pressed penny book. Goggles, sunglasses. Nail polish for girls.

Thanks for all the suggestion!! They have all been great. I have started to put together a list of things to get.
I have never had a problem with coming up with things in the past. I don't know what happend this time. lol

Those are all great ideas. I plan on doing something akin to that for the plane ride to keep my 2 year old occupied on the flight. Makes me remember the good ol days when I was a kid going to Disney World when one of the airlines (I forget which one) actually had their own Disney World goodie bags for kids on flights to Orlando.
