I want to let you all know that we're staying in one of thier condos now and we love it!!! The condo is decorated beautifully, there were no issues checking in, getting to the parks is super quick and easy. I love having our own kitchen and rooms! We won't ever stay on property again and as far as I'm concerned we'll continue to rent from these people!
(oh and the rooms are bigger than what they look like online!)

We will be staying in unit 301 in December. Are you in a condo or a townhouse? Any issues?

We are in a condo. The only issue is the pitter patter of little feet running across the condo above us. Usually starting around 6:30am. Really, it sounds like they are running laps up there! So those of you with kids, please remember there are people staying below you! (I know I'm constantly telling my kids not to run because of the people below us!)
As for the kitchen, it is well stocked! The only things we needed were garbage bags and coffee filters. (and of course food and spices). They even had a wine cork....
There is also a pack n play, high chair (actually one of those that just attaches to the table), umbrella stroller, plenty of linens, towels, and even some beach towels!

The only way to avoid hearing those above you is if you're on the 4th floor or you rent a townhouse. With the townhouse you're the only ones above you.

haha! No kidding! I already went on the website this morning to see what thier 4th floor options were for next time!

We arrive at 404 next Sat then in dec we in 202 both condos...we'd rather put up with a bit of pitter patter of little feet than steps

The website is www.vacationcentralflorida.com
Looks like they upped there prices a little for next year. It's ok with me though, I'll still rent through them since I now know them! If only they weren't booked for next week. I have DH talked into staying longer!

Thanks! Looks pretty good. Have bookmarked the site, we're still in the planning stages for Nov or Dec 2010. Will have to decide condo or townhouse.......

Thanks for posting about them! I saw your post and was hoping it was good since we check in one week from today with a unit from them.
They have been great so far. I had a few questions over the past few months and they respond very fast.

I can't wait to get there! :cool1:

Have fun!

Good to hear! We're looking to rent a condo and have considered renting through them. I love the YouTube video tours of the units!

Oh and I don't think I mentioned that we were in 204B. So sad that we're home. If it would've been open for this week I could've had DH talked into staying another week! Darn Sept for being booked!

Oh, 204B is the unit I was thinking of renting next year. Glad to hear you liked it! Please share any other comments you might have about both the unit and complex in general.

We'll be in unit 204 next July and I can't wait! How long would you say it takes to get from leaving the condo to going through security at the MK?

bumping

I'd too like to know the answer to the question about how long it takes to get to MK . . .

I would say about 6 min. I never actually timed it but I know it felt like no time at all. Now if you want to include parking, then waiting on the tram, then taking the monorail, going through bag check and finally actually stepping foot in the park....about 20 min give or take depending on how long we waited for a the monorail and how long the line was at bag check.

I am at one of their townhomes now (yipee!) and it's great. It's just as described on the website. Check in was easy and the directions were perfect (for getting here, getting in, internet, etc).

The light in our pool isn't working so we called the local number we were given and they were here very fast.

Can't wait to check out the main pool. The girls had a a lot of fun in the splash pool yesterday when we arrived.

We went to the boardwalk last night and it took a bit longer than I thought it would. We followed the way the GPS said to go but I wonder if there is a quicker way.

So far, very pleased with vacationcentralflorida

I'm so happy to read this! We're looking to stay there Oct 2010.
I have a question about check in...did you have to go to the management company to get a key, or does the keypad on the door totally eliminate that step?

Yes, that's the time I am curious about, from the time you leave Windsor Hills to the time you are actually entering the bag check line, since at that point your wait would be the same regardless of coming on Disney transportation from a Disney resort or coming from Windsor Hills. If it's about 20 minutes or so, that's not bad, actually the same or quicker than Pop Century. I was there over Labor Day weekend and I paid attention to how long it took to get to the bag check station from the time we actually walked out of our room. It was about a 5 minute walk just from the room to the busses, then wait for the bus, then actually travel to the MK, then walk from the busses to the bag check area, it was at least 30 minutes. We did always have to wait a couple minutes for the bus, but never too long. Glad to see I'm not wasting a ton of time staying offsite, and perhaps for the other resorts that don't require the boat or monorail to get there, it may even be quicker.
