vacation areas that have homes with pools

We are looking for a vacation spot that is driveable from NJ for our family of 6 this summer. We would love to be able to get a house with a pool....but I am finding that very hard....I keep finding ones that are way too expensive!! Does anyone know any family friendly areas that have homes with pools? Thanks so much!!

Outer Banks beaches of NC? Many homes there have pools. If you look for houses that aren't directly on the beach but have access, you'll find better pricing.

Hilton Head Island also has a lot of home rentals with pools. Probably about a 13 hr. ride though. There are also a ton of villa style resorts with both pools and beach access if you want something cheaper.

We like the Queens Grant section of Palmetto Dunes Resort on Hilton Head. We usually rent a two bedroom for about $1100 a week during high season. You can walk or ride bikes to the beach and there are five pools in the complex...basic but nice enough.
