VA Beach - Cavalier Hotel?

Has anyone stayed at the Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach? We'll be staying there this summer in the oceanfront tower. How is it? Thanks!

The Cavalier is a beautiful hotel. We've stayed in many places on the ocean front but haven't stayed there yet. it's also down on the quieter end of the beach.

we stayed at the old Cavalier, on the hillside years ago. The newer one, on the oceanfront we have not stayed at. If you get a chance, walk across the street. The old Cav is like stepping back into the 1940's, and they have a lot of memoribilia, like old menus, photos, etc.

Click on USA, then virginia and you can find out actual reviews of that hotel from people who have stayed there.

We are going in July and staying at the Dunes Oceanfront, and I found that website very helpful in picking which hotel to stay at.
