I hope you will all forgive me for such a delay in posting! It has been a crazy few weeks around here. So much has been going on with My Scrapbook Fundraiser for MS, Weekend retreat, teaching, trying to get organized, planning our july trip, making costumes, and now V's 5th birthday. Yes her 5th birthday....
Head on over to my July PTR (the link is in my signature) to see the birthday cake I made. Now onto important things
Recap: V and I hit up the Magic Kingdom, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, from dawn till dusk!
Day 3: Animal Kingdom
It was NOT easy to wake V this morning. It was really hard, she was so tuckered out. I knew we would be having a bit of an earlier night so I was hopeful she would last the day. She got up and had a quick shower to wash all the BBB out. I was disappointed she didnt want to keep the hair done up as Id read that some girls keep theirs looking great for days, but oh well. She grabbed some cheerios to eat on the bus for breakfast, refilled the mug and headed to the bus for Animal Kingdom.
We got to AK before rope drop and only had to wait maybe 15 min for the show to start! We were near the front so it might have been longer. We were towards the left so we didnt have a great view of the show but a few nice people moved aside a bit so V could see.
We followed the rope heading to...... if you guessed Africa you are right! We headed straight for Kilimanjoros Safari. After being nearly run over by a runaway stroller.... yes a runaway stroller. I went to the stroller parking and pushed down the hill and I think V was still in the stroller so I walked down. I might have left her at the top of the small hill, but Im pretty sure the CM was telling me to let the stroller go, but no I walked it down, it was a fully loaded stroller! I gave him the stroller and walked up the hill nearly getting hit by a runaway umbrella stroller that someone launched from the top of the hill like literally just walked by the top of the hill let it go and continued on not worrying to see if there was anyone to catch it. We joined the running of the bulls through the que. People actually passed us in line and V was hustling! We walked right on to the ride and enjoyed a lovely trek through Africa.
Aside from when our driver kept telling the people sitting behind us to tell their kid to sit down. Seriously, hold your child if you need to, good grief. We caught the poachers! And enjoyed all the amazing animals!
V loved the animals!
After getting the stroller we headed to Asia, any guesses where we were going to next?
