UT Tickets Won't Arrive by 60 Day Mark/Still Worth the Savings?

Ready to book our 5 day stay for President's week. Is the $42 savings on our park hoppers through UT worth risking not getting the FP+ we want as they won't arrive until closer to 58 days out? Only 2 of us going and we like all the headliners but don't care about A&E (or any M&G's) or parades/fireworks, shows, really just the big rides! Our strategy last year was to RD at the EMH park and make our FP+ at another park later in the day. Booked that trip around 30 days out and got everything we wanted for our entire trip (although 7DMT wasn't open yet). It seems this 60 day mark is a big deal now in order to get what you want for the FP. Thanks!

Personally, I think you'll be fine not booking FP+ until 58 days out. I wouldn't be surprised if SDMT was still available by then. I'd save the $42!

I also think you will be fine at 58 days. Since you should be able to get most of what you want, even if 7DMT is out, you could do EMH for those few you don't get. Get the UT tickets, save the $ and hopefully the tix will come earlier than expected. Have a great time.

And even if Mine is out now, keep checking, even to the day you want to go on it. I was there over the Wine&Dine run, which was also the last weekend of Food&Wine festival, and I was able to snag a Mine FP+ at nearly the last minute.

Thanks for the replies! I went ahead and ordered the tickets from UT. Hoping they come in the 5 days as some have reported, but if not, I'm not going to worry about it. Last year we got all we wanted at only 30 days out and saving $43 was nice this time!

my hubs booked his fp long after us girls had ours for nov trip and he got everything he wanted w us except anna/elsa and a parade we never even used. He had BTMRR, Splash, STar Tours RNR, TSMM. All the big stuff and got to ride with us.

We tend to change FP+ the day of. TSM is always an issue. We didn't try for 7dmt or A&E, but I assume they were gone too. Other than that we have never had an issue getting what we want literally on the way to the park in the morning.

We also got UT tix and didn't get them in time for 60 day mark (tix shipped two days after order, arrived exactly 5 days after order). We are going end of Jan. beginning of Feb. so not as busy as President's Day, but there was still availability for mine train (on a crowd day rated as a 7 for MK), toy story, and most everything I looked at except Anna and Elsa and parade/Wishes space. Good luck. I was nervous too.
