Vent Vent Vent Vent.

The story.....car hire for August....£351.00......great deal no problems with that.......deposit £50.00, to confirm booking, no prblems with that......leaves me £301.00 to pay.

Phoned today to pay the balance because the original credit card was lost and paid via my visa.......

spoke to the guy who will remain nameless at this time who took all my details down, and seemed to be dithering a bit........i asked him to CONFIRM that he had taken the correct amount of £301.00, and he told me that he had.....well lo and behold, I get a confirmation e-mail, thank you for £422.70.....to say that i am not amused would be an understatement

Lastly guys it's not the mistake thats riled me....it's the fact that I was told "porkies". anyone who knows me is.....DON'T TELL LIES....so I am waiting with bated breath on their reply

Oh by the way when the Mrs finds out whats happened my backside is in the grinder......:rotfl2:

the moral of the story is....there is'nt one....there is not a great deal I could do about this one

Hmmm not good at all :( Hope you have the original email to prove the initial price and they re-imburse the extra that they have taken.

Have you followed it up with them to ask why the amount was incorrect? It could be a simple mistake that just needs putting right.

Hope you get it sorted. I've always found usrentacar very helpful in the past, and have used them a number of times.
 

Had a call while i was in bed asleep......USrentacar......explained the cause and fault.........apoligised profusely....thats all i needed.....takes a big man to say sorry..........thanks for that:thumbsup2

Great that it got sorted. have always had excellent service from USrentacar,
 
Glad it's all sorted Harry - we had a problem with USRentacar the first time we used them but we sent an Email on our return, explaining the problem and got it all sorted plus a 10% discount on a future booking :thumbsup2

As others have said, their customer service is usually pretty good :)
