The only thing I used my Disney Club membership for was to get a discount on Annual Passes. I have been looking over the Disney Visa rewards program and for every $1,000 you charge you can get $10 certificates for use at Walt Disney World. The explanation says:

This rewards certificate may be redeemed only toward select merchandise, recreation, lodging, food, beverages and Walt Disney World® admission tickets at participating locations at the Walt Disney World® Resort and on Disney Cruise Line® ships.

Do we know for sure that these can be used to purchase Annual Passes? What are your thoughts?

IMHO, AP's would come under the "Walt Disney World® admission tickets" so I would say most definitely they can. In fact the way I read it, you can use as many Reward Dollars as you have accumulated towards the purchase. They do not limit you to only using one $20 certificate per purchase. You apply the certificates and then pay the balance in cash, check or credit card.

Thank you for the reassurances! I think I got nervous because of the "only toward select...admission tickets "

I looked online at my rewards, since I have hit a statement and now have them available to spend. There were 4 options available:

$10 to Disney Store (gift card)
$20 to Disney Store (gift card)
$10 Reward Dollars to Disney World
$10 Reward Dollars to Disneyland

They say that the Reward Dollars are not worth any cash, that if you do not use the full amount, you will get no change, etc, just like other places do their reward dollars. I am thinking that these will basically be like Disney Dollars, but you cannot get any change from them
