Using Virgin Airmiles

Hi there, I have been able to book up prem. economy reward flights to and from Orlando for myself and my DH for September this year. If I check the Virgin website nearer the time and there are first class reward seats available can I use the balance of our miles to upgrade to first class?

This all depends how you paid for the tickets.

If you bought them with airmiles then no you won't be able to use miles to upgrade. But if you bought them with money you can but it depends on the code of the ticket. If I remember correctly it is only the dearer tickets that can be upgraded with miles, I'm sure someone else will know the exact details and code fares that are applicable.
