I read here at the disboards that you could use a TS credit for 1 CS and 2 snacks. Can anyone confirm this? How does it work on the receipt? Do you have to tell the cashier to take from TS when CS are gone? Thanks - Lori
That is not a Disney DP policy. TS and CS credits are to be used as designated. However, from time to time Disney has made temporary allowances for guests to receive say a Lanyard and some food in exchange for a TS credit. I have not read that any such coversions are currently available at WDW. I would not plan on making an exchange during my trip.
Hopefully you will schedule your TS meals with ADRs and not find yourself unable to use them.
As far as I know this has only been permitted during the "free dining" period because most of the TS restaurants were booked up. There is no indication that Disney will offer this exchange during the 2008 free dining period. It's best to make ADRs if you don't want to risk losing your TS credits. Or you could plan to spend them for in-room dining or pizza delivery - while that is not the best deal, it's better than wasting them.
