I am not an elevator friendly person. I always try to book a 1st or 2nd floor room. I really liked the WL and would like to stay there on our next trip. Are all the rooms on high floors? I can do 2 flights of stairs, anything more at Disney is tiring. Which floor should I request?

Yes - there are rooms on the lobby level on up. The top floor is Concierge Level.

We were on the ground floor when we stayed there in 2004. You actually had to go down a ramp from the main lobby to our woods view room. We had a nice patio and a view of lots of trees -- not too far from the otter pond.

I have been in this area a lot as well. My mom has claustrophobia issues with elevators, so when she comes along, we have to have a first or at the most second floor room. We have also stayed in the hallway directly across from the gift shop on the lobby level at WL (which is technically the second floor - there are first floor rooms below them). When Mom is traveling with me, I always request a lobby level room or first floor room (depending on the resort layout) and I also explain as I'm checking in that there are claustrophobia issues. So far, we haven't had a problem.
