Using Premium AP for Parking

I need some input on how the system works with parking and PAP's

Here is the issue.

I am meeting a friend during a trip down to DL. He is a local but he doesnt have a PAP, his is deluxe. So what I plan on is him picking me up at my hotel and we drive in to the lots, using my PAP to get free parking.

Now when he leaves, he will go without me as he needs to leave early.

As I recall he isnt going to have any issues since you pay when you drive in, but I wanted to be sure.

They need to see the Premium card when you first arrive at the lots. As long as you're in the car when presenting the Premium card, you'll both be fine. He can then leave later on with no trouble at all.

They only check as you enter the parking structure.

Just make sure to tell him if he MUST leave the parking lot later on in the day without you with him to keep his parking ticket so he can show it to the parking lot attendants if he returns later that day. I'm not sure if they ask for the AP again, but I'm sure they won't.
