Using Pins

I have won both the Autopia and Diving Pins but when I go to either Autopia or the Diving room it says I need the pins..

What do I need to do to make them work right

Make sure you're wearing the pins. Then click the button (next to the chat) that looks like a wand. Double click the magic in front of the area you need to go to, then enter the area while the magic is activated.
