using my last 91 pts from 08

I have already booked AK concierge for Jan 16th through the 23rd. I am thinking about extending our trip so I can use up my points. ( pretty sure I cannot go the rest of the year )

So my question is if I don't choose my home resort ( which is AK ) and I try to book at my 7 month window, what resort will I have a better chance at using my remaining points? I know some of the resorts are more popular than others and I want to go for the one I would have a better chance at. I wanted to try another DVC if we had the chance......if not I will go with AK if I still can. Also, should I go ahead and book the days at AK and then change it at my 7 months?

Hi: You can book your home resort, AKL, to ensure you have a room. The resorts with the most available units would be: SSR, OKW, BWV, BCV, and VWL in that order. (I'm not 100% sure if BCV and VWL should be reversed). At your 7 month mark, you can try for any of them- pick one you've always wanted to try. Good luck!
