Using MDE for phone wallpaper

I was thinking I would suggest my family make some sort of home/lock screen wallpaper for their iPhones in case one is lost while in WDW.

Even though there are lots of ways someone could access owner information or contacts (unless it has a lock screen), I think the more obvious/ the less the finder has to search, the better.

One idea I had is to take a screen shot of your resort reservation page within MDE and use that as wallpaper.

I'd really prefer to have my other family member phone numbers easily available so I might create something else, screen shot that, then use that as lock screen wallpaper.

I'm interested to hear if anyone else has ideas.

I print out a small label with my first name and email address on and either stick it to my items or with bags, cameras, etc I make a mini cardboard tag to hang onto it. If someone intends to have your item returned to you or handed in, the info is there and it's nothing too personal if they want to contact me (or if Disney does). If someone has bad intentions, it makes no difference what you do or don't do. I figure it gives me the best option this way.

A screen shot is not a bad idea either. Just be selective about what you display on there. I'd personally not put my MDE page on.

Sounds to me like you're putting personally identifiable information (PII) on your lock screen (and home screen), which doesn't seem good to me. I would just trust that someone who has any intention of returning a lost phone at WDW would know enough to simply turn it in.

Hmm. I certainly don't want to do that. I guess that's gone over my head. Would the resort name, reservation number, dates and spouse name give someone too much access to my hotel room?

Not arguing with you. And I appreciate the feedback. I guess I need to know what I'm giving away so maybe I can do a better job on my next attempt.

That's more info than I'm comfortable sharing, but I am routinely involved in privacy concerns. If you're okay with that info being there for anyone, than that's what matters. I am just saying that if anyone is going to turn in a phone, I think they'll be knowledgable enough to turn it in to Guest Relations or a nearby CM and be done with it.

A name (either initial and last name or just a first name) and a means to contact you should be enough.I'm like mesaboy - I don't disclose more than I think I need to unless I know who is going to end up with that information.

I know with my blackberry Z30 with blackberry protect I can make my phone emit a really loud and obnoxious sound to locate it along with GPS locating on it will show me it's location so once I get close to it I can make it sound it's alarm to show me exactly where it is or who may have it.
