Using Leftover Child Table Svc Credit

We are currently at WDW and while we will be here until Wed, our dining plan ends Sunday (tomorrow). We will have an extra child table svc credit b/c our son did not feel well at the character breakfast at O Hana's and the wait person was nice enough not to charge us for him because he just slept the whole time in the stroller. Now we were wondering what we can use that extra credit for. A thought was that I could ask the Turf Club (at Saratoga Springs where we are staying) if they will allow us to take out a child's meal. Of course I am thinking of asking at a time they are not busy, like at lunch. Or if they don't allow this, I imagine we can use it for a child's counter service meal but can it be used for an adult counter service meal (since the cost of an child's table service is about the same price as an adult counter service)? We seem to have an excess of snack credits so we will have to spend 16 in our 2 remaining days. We started with 28 and since we often pack our own favorite snacks, we haven't used as many snack credits as I thought we would.

as far as i know you cant trade it for a counter service if you are on the regular plan, that is a perk of having the deluxe plan.
i suppose you could try to get a kids meal to go at a restaurant, not sure if they do to-go in disney though?
if it were me, and i wasnt planning on eating anymore meals, i would just skip it. a childs meal only costs about 7-8 dollars anyway.

Thanks - think I will try to do the table service take out (but I guess I might be charged gratuities on that). Actually using the child's table svc for adult counter svc might be the best for us but they probably won't allow it. We will no longer be on the Dining Plan after Sunday but we don't leave until Wed. We are staying in the same unit at Saratoga but will be on a new reservation Sun-Wed and won't be on the dining plan. So I guess we can always just get the child's counter svc and leave it in the refrigerator in case someone gets hungry. We weren't planning on another table service so yeah, I didn't want to pay for another table service out of pocket for the rest of us just to use that extra child's credit.

We had the same situation last year and simply asked while we were dining in Captain Cooks if they could covert it to a CS meal....they did so without any hassle. If you run into a problem with them doing that at a CS location, simply go to the front desk of your resort and ask them to convert it for you (after you explain the situation that lead to you having this extra credit, of course)....should be no problem....hope your trip has been extra "magical"! :flower3:

Go to Lobby Concierge NOW (or, well, at least some time in advance of any attempted purchase) and ask if they can convert that child TS credit to a child CS credit. It's a decision made and effected by resort management (vs., for the most part, any individual dining location), and arranging it in advance will save you time.
