Using Family's DVC Points? Age requirement?

Hi all! In about a year, my friend and I will be going to WDW to celebrate our 21 birthdays. My mom is a DVC member and I am an associate on the account. I have a couple of questions related to this trip.

First, I assume that when I call member services I just put my name as the primary on the reservation because my mom will not be accompanying me, is it as easy as that?

Second, as I stated before, my friend and I (the only two traveling) will be 21 at the time. Will we have any problems with that when it comes to booking/checking in?

Shouldn't be a problem. Our daughter traveled with a friend without us several years ago. She was 18. Her friend was 17.

Our DD's have done this many times! They were both 18 the first time they did it, and had no problems at all. Have fun!
