Using e-gift cards in the parks?

Hi everyone! Headed down next weekend and I have a couple of e-gift cards (Disney ones not MC/Visa) and I'm wondering how difficult it is to use these in the parks for food, souvenirs etc. Can the CM's just manually type in the number? Thanks so much!

My kids each got them last year from a family member and we had no issues using them throughout the parks!

I was able to use them at food carts and souvenir kiosks with no problem. The CM just scanned the barcode from my phone.

They can be scanned right from your mobile device. It's also very easy to transfer the balances onto a physical card if you have one on disneygiftcard.com
