Using Disney cards for parking

I'm not sure where to post this, so I thought I'd start here. We're taking a trip in June, and for the first time ever, staying offsite. I realize we'll be paying a lot to park each day. I was wondering if we can use a Disney gift card to pay for the parking fee each day? I would love to pre-purchase our cards to pay for parking, if possible (one of my daughter's teams uses a fundraising site to purchase cards, so that will benefit us in more ways than one).

Has anyone tried this before?

If you can use a credit/debit card to pay for parking - and I don't know if that's possible but there's no reason it SHOULDN'T be - then, yes, you will be able to use a gift card as well. I mean, as long as they have a device that can read the magnetic strip...
