Using Disney Car Rental Drop Off Question

For anyone who has dropped a rental off at the Car Rental Place on property- how do you get back to your resort? Does the bus system pick up there, or is there a shuttle? We would be arriving on a Fri am and staying at POP. After dropping off the car how would we get back to POP? Thanks

If you are renting/returning the car to the Car Care Center, just outside MK, you can have a car/shuttle return you to your resort, or wherever you choose to go. You just have to be sure to book that ride the day before you need it.
If you are returning the car to the Dolphin, you're on your own. No shuttle available there.

is this a free shuttle? we would be renting at sanford and dropping off at the car care center.

Yep..it's free. Be sure to give them a call (not sure of the number) and let them know that you will be needing a ride to POP after you drop off the car. Or, you could drop everyone off at POP, with the bags, then just one of you take the car back to the CCC, and then get a ride back to POP. No need for everyone to go.

And it looks like we'll be at POP at the same time. My dd and I arrive on 1/12 and stay until 1/14 when I move over to BWV. Here's hoping for warm weather.

I have dropped off a car there three times and caught a shuttle back to my resort without having to call ahead. They asked me if I needed a ride back and after a short wait got on a shuttle. Twice it was just me on the shuttle. I did rent the car from that location also. When I picked it up I called the night before for a scheduled shuttle pick up at my resort to take me to get the car.

You don't have to schedule the return trip to you onsite hotel after you drop the car off. The shuttles basically wait out front and take folks on an as needed basis.
