Using Disney Buses when staying at Swolphin?

We are staying at the Dolphin at the end of the month and I understand the busing has recently changed and they no longer drop off directly at MK. Is it possible to walk over to the Yacht or Beach club and take their buses? Do I need to show any Disney resort keys or anything?

@paugom, yes others have done just what you are talking about, either going to YC/BC or BW. You won't be asked for any form of ID.

This post of mine links to the Disney and discusses how the buses are for all guests. So far nobody has had any issues walking to those resorts to take a bus.

Other than possibly hearing grumbling from other guests about how crowded the bus stop is. But no one can tell where you walked from, and you won’t be asked for proof of your hotel.

Anyone can ride Disney transportation at any time. You don't have to be staying on site either. The reasoning is, if you're there and using transportation, you're probably spending money.
