Using DAS at the resort

We are staying at BLT in June. I understand that I can reserve a ride with DAS once I enter the park. The plan is to leave the park mid afternoon to rest and then go back later on. If we do leave the park to rest, would I be able to reserve another ride for later in the day while we are at the resort? Thanks. =)

Yes, but only for the park you most recently left. That is to say, if you leave MK at 1, and are planning to parkhop to Epcot at 6, you cannot get a DAS return from the app for Epcot until you've scanned into that park

Oh ok! So if we go to MK and then go back to resort and plan to go back later on to MK, I can reserve a time for later on once we return while I'm at BLT.

since DAS is open-ended, you can even grab the DAS Return Time before leaving MK, with plans to use it as soon as you return to the park after your break.

Last summer, we were able to stop by the blue umbrellas at MK, on our way to park hop to Epcot, and they set up a DAS return for Frozen for us. That worked well, as our wait time was mostly travel by monorail to Epcot and walking to world showcase.
So if you have park hoppers the CM can do it for you. Haven't been since the change in the app, so I dont know if you can do it yourself.
