Using AP rate after booking

Like many others, we are waiting for an AP rate for May. If we book this week using one of the AX* codes could we call back and get a possible forthcoming AP rate for May? Maybe the difference credited to us? (First time trying to use our AP for a room rate).

Yes you can. go ahead and book now using the ax code. call back periodically to check on AP rate. when and if the AP code is announced, disney will apply it to your rate. You have to call them though, they won't just apply it on their own. Also, be aware that AP rates are limited and there may not be one for the resort that you booked. last year we changed the resort we were staying at because the AP rate was only for CSR during the time we were going.
