Using a DW park hopper at DL question?

Hi there,

I am going to DW in a few days and am wondering what ticket to buy. We will be at Disneyworld for my family's reunion then flying right to Disneyland for my husbands family reunion.

I talked to a cast member who said I could use 1 day of my hopper (within 14 days) at Disneyland.

Has anyone done this? Also, I could get a Florida res hopper, but dinseyland was not even sure if it would work. Anyone know?

Hmmmm....I have never heard of being able to use a ticket both places.

As far as I know tickets from one resort cannot be used at another.

I used leftover days from my WDW Parkhopper at Disneyland last year, no problem. The only "bad" thing was that you couldn't just put the ticket in the machine at the turnstile; a CM had to come get them and go to a little office off to the side to make sure that the tickets still had days left on them...this took a few minutes to do.

That's because DL is not connected to the WDW ATS computer system. DL must actually phone Guest Relations at WDW to verify your ticket and to tell them to charge a day's admission to it.

It's more like West is West and East is East and West.

DL tickets cannot be used at WDW but WDW park hoppers can be used at DL. This has been true for many years now.

No, APs are only good for whichever resort you bought them for.

The reason WDW park hoppers are good at DL is because they cost more.
