I'm considering squeezing a trip to USH during a business trip. I will be arriving around 9 in Long Beach, so until I rented a car it would be mid-morning when I reached the park. Then in the afternoon I would need to get away for a couple hours.

The date is Saturday, April 6. The hours are listed as 9-8. I would probably have to leave between 1:30-5ish.

Would that give me enough time to get most everything in? Is this answer different if I buy the front of the line pass?

I consider Universal Studios a 3/4 day, where Disneyland would be a full day. You're looking at 4.5 hours in the morning and 2.5-3 hours in the afternoon, so total of 7 hours, if traffic doesn't hold you up and you can be in the park for those hours. You might be able to pull it off and see most everything.

Are you going during off-season or peak season? If you are going during off season, with some planning, you can see a good part of the park and enjoy the day - I think you'd be okay. During peak season you would have to have the front of the line pass.

Make sure that if you see the shows, time them so as you leave one you walk in to the other.

I will be there Saturday, April 6, so I don't know if that will be a peak time because of spring break, or if it will be ok since Easter is later this year.
