Used Powerup Band - Super Mario World

Wondering if we can purchase a used powerup band online and use it on our account for a trip we have in January. We don't want to waste time during Early Entry to buy one. Any suggestions?

FYI we were able to grab one in the store on the upper lot after we had been let in the main gate and before they did the walkdown to the back lot. YMMV, but I assume you can find one online here and there. you would want to link it before you start, and I have no knowledge of how easy it is to link a used band in the app.

I just got a couple on eBay for upcoming trip for quite a bit less than buying new. The data is saved to the band, so you need to go to the shop in the land to get them to wipe it clean from what I've read.
They're for my young kids so not sure if i will even bother with wiping them. They won't care.
