Used K-12 textbooks seller located in Georgia

I used to purchase used textbooks from a company in Georgia (there were actually two of them) when we needed a few extra. They had a flat rate price no matter what the textbook (back then it was $4 a piece, but I think it had gone up to $6 the last time I ordered).

You could get student editions, teacher editions, curriculum kits, etc all for the same price plus shipping. All you had to do was call and let them know what you were looking for, and they would check to see whether they had it (they bought surplus stock from school districts, book companies, etc.).

The companies came up in a conversation this morning with a colleague who wanted the contact information. I haven't needed to use them in several years and have misplaced the phone numbers. I tried googling and couldn't find what I wanted (I'm not even sure they had a website back then but might have now).

Do any of you school people know who I'm talking about?

I don't, but wish I did. Sounds like a deal. I try to buy as much of our curriculum used as I can.

It was a great deal. Sometimes I was able to get entire classroom sets when we needed them. Some of the books had some minor markings in them, and some were like brand new. I used to direct our principals to them, but we don't have those same principals anymore. I really liked that we were able to get all the teacher materials at such a cheap price.

I always used A Beka when I homeschooled, but I never tried to get those materials there. I would think it's possible they have homeschool curriculum too. If I locate the number somewhere else, I'll post it on here.

You know, I've often thought (after seeing little kids carrying backpacks that were loaded down) that if I were the parent of one of those students, I would try to get a set of books for them to leave at home.
