I have a June use year at SSR. If I add on at AKV, do I want to get a June use year, a different use year, or does it matter?

User year only matters when it comes to banking and cancelling deadlines. The idea is that if you have to cancel a trip, you want those points to have a decent amount of time remaining in theri UY in order to either bank them or use them on another trip.

Therefore, it is generally wise to get a use year just before the month the you anticipate traveling the most, if possible.

I would think it is best to keep the same UY for all your subsequent contracts if you can. Keeping track of different Use Years and banking deadlines would get kinda crazy with multiple contracts.

Unless you plan to purchase 150 or more points, your add-on will have the same Use Year as your master contract.

If you purchase an AKV resale, you can get any Use Year available and any size contract available , but those aren't likely to be available until at least Friday. ;)

If you add on with less then 150 ( 160 ? now ) points , say like 25 or 50 Disney will only sell you the same Use Year. If you wanted a different Use Year you would have to buy at least the min amount of 150 <?> !!

I have 5 contracts at 4 resorts and they all have the same UY - I find it much easier to keep track of the points that way
