Wow!
I was poking around United's website and saw that you can now use miles to book hotel and car reservations. I pluged in a few dates for WDW just to see what would pop up and not only are there a ton of non-Disney hotels you can book using miles, but you can book Disney resorts too! Not just the Swan/Dolphin either, but the values, mods, deluxes and villas!
It takes a lot of miles (a Value resort for 7 nights takes about 105,000 miles, for example) but if you have a lot of miles saved up, it can save you some $$$!
There were also a fair number of Disneyland area hotels too, like the Sheraton Anaheim, if DLR is your Mouse House of choice!
