i called and got info from someone at the SeaWorld call center, but as we all know, they can sometimes have a wide spectrum of info on the same subject.

the person there said that if you puchased a 1 day park ticket with say the pepsi code discount or the be a kid again discount - any discounted ticket - you were not able to take part in the Anytime Program (where if you pay for one day ticket you can - somewhere inside the park - show your paid ticket and get a pass for 6 consecutive days of free admission.)

Anyone out there used this Anytime Program? with a discounted ticket or full price ticket?

if not, i will assume the person at the call center was right. if you have, i will call back again and keep going up the food chain until i get someone who knows the proper info.

everything I've seen supports the call center. it's either the discount or the extra days. the resident two-for coupon at BK reads the same way, you can't double up the promotions.

Here is the reply I got in response to my email inquiry. Note the last sentence!

Dear Paul:

Our new SeaWorld Anytime ticket allows you six additional consecutive visits from your first visit. Exchange your paid single day admission ticket at our Second Day ticket window located next to the park exit prior to leaving the park and receive a ticket that allows you to return up to six times to SeaWorld Orlando within the next six consecutive days at no additional charge. Any paid admission is eligible for this promotional ticket, even those purchase at a discount.

Thank you for contacting SeaWorld Orlando.

We just got back. I purchased 2 adult and 2 child tickets about a month ago using the Pepsi code. We went the first day and left about 3pm and stopped at the little office on the way out. No problems at all getting the additional days pass.

Note: if you plan on spending the entire day or leaving at 9, get your ticket upgraded earlier. The line was amazing for people waiting to upgrade at the end of the night.

Wow! Thanks for the tip, scammermom! I wouldn't want to stand in line for an hour at the end of a long day.

We went three days total. First day 9am - 3pm, another day 3pm - closing (saw the Mystique show over the water, nice!), and another day about 11am - 3pm (had a few hours to kill before our flight out)

Worked great!

cool - logic (well, ok, not logic - by my skepticism) would tell me that you couldn't double up the discounts, but the e-mail from SW and the others who have been doing so seems to point in a different direction.

hey eppley1 - do you have the e-mail address you sent (or better yet - received) that email message from? i would love to bother them and get confirmation on my own. (maybe even take a print out of it with me incase they refuse to give me the extra days because i purchased my original days at a discount.)

I wouldn't suggest to keep bothering them. They may decide to change it if people continue to do that. It's a nice bonus. Enjoy it. Maybe we're not supposed to be able to but their computer system obviously doesn't work that way or they just want to make customers happy.

Lori,

I just used the form on their "Contact Us" page. The email address in their reply was generic, that is, not from a specific customer rep.

Purchased 4 adult & 3 child passes online with Pepsi code (March 06) and had no problems trading up to extra days free. I agree with the recommendation to do it early to avoid a wait at the end of the day.

In fact, DD and I upgraded to the Fun Pass which cost the same as regular price admission and allows unlimited visits thru Dec 31 2006. So we sacrificed our discount but can go back anytime for the rest of the year, not just the following 6 consecutive days. We just returned from another visit last week and saw Believe and new Shamu Happy Harbor rides. As a FL resident, we are sure to get our $ worth!

I think if you ask too many questions, it just confuses them (LOL)! Things may be different park to park which may be why the 800# and e-mail responses differ. If you can manage not to worry too much about problems (I know it's hard when planning vacation details!), SW (Orlando, in my experience at least) seems pretty easy going about the discounts and promotions because they must know the stiff competition they are up against in Orlando! Just use your DISCOUNTED ticket to get in (you keep it) and then go to the counter to get your add'l days pass (they take your pic- another reason to do it early in the day ... )

P.S. Don't miss "Sea Lions Tonight" show if you can see it. It pokes fun at other SW shows and it's hilarious!! :rotfl:
