Use of Points

I have resale points purchased prior to Jan. 2019.They are good at the 14 legacy resorts and any new ones to be built (as of now). My son has direct points from Disney same home resort and same use year. If he transfers me points can I combine them with my points due to no stay restrictions and book anywhere and vica versa? TIA

Yes, they can be combined to make a reservation at any non-owned DVC Resort, including Riviera.

And being same resort and UY, they should show up in your account which means you can use online and not have to call.

Each member is allowed one transfer in or out of your membership per UY. Once transferred, the points retain all of their own rules. So, since your points have not current restrictions in terms of DVC current and future resorts, then once in his account, they would be still eligible to book without restrictions,

Transferring never changes anything about points in terms of UY, home resort, or restrictions.

Yes you can bank points transferred into your account. You just can not borrow them. Remember, transferred points retain home resort and UY status.
