Use of multiple gift cards

We've been buying Disney gift cards since returning from the World 8 months ago and have accumulated quite a bit of them. Yesterday we purchased MNSSHP tickets over the phone and they only allowed us to use 2 forms of payment so we used 1 gift card and had to charge the remaining. Wondering when we get to Disney and purchase our theme park tickets if we'll be allowed to use as many gift cards as we'd like. I'm getting a bit nervous that we purchased all these gift cards and wont be able to use theM how we intended on theme parks, dining plan, etc.

I don't see why it would be an issue....unfortunately I have no personal experience with this situation. Best suggestion....call customer service and ask them....hopefully they can give you a clear answer or direct you to someone who can.

Last May I was able to use 6 GC to purchase our tickets.

Yes. At any ticket window we can accept an unlimited number of Disney gift cards toward the purchase of tickets. This does not work with Amex, MC or Visa branded gift cards.

The only down side to gift cards is when you are making payments on a vaca...

When you use multiple gift cards its easiest to call in to apply them to a vaca you have purchased. Also never throw the gift cards away until the vaca is over. Because if you need a refund... they MUST put them back onto that gift card...

We use gift cards purchased from our school all the time.

What about purchasing tickets from a Disney Store? Is there a limit in the stores to the amount of Disney Gift Cards?

I can't answer the second question about using them at the Disney store, but I have experience with using gift cards. Last year I paid for my entire trip with gift cards. I went to the store and bought $8,000 in gift cards, and then called Disney to use them. I was able to use every one. I also like to use them for the parks, but what we do is usually use our KTTW cards for every purchase including tips, then we pay down our bill at the front desk of our resort using the gift cards. Of course that will only work if you are staying on property, and I see you are, so it will work. I know that when I use the Disney website for store purchases it is the same procedure as what you dealt with in regards to your MNSSHP tickets. I use a gift card and have to enter my Debit card in order to have any additional balance applied to it.
