Use of Atlantis Pools w/out Room??

Hi!

Is there any type or excursion etc offered that would allow use of the pools and better yet pools and beach at the Atlantis Resort. We did not want to book a room at Comfort Suites or Atlantis to get use of the pools and beach unless there are no other options. I have seen an excursion listed that allows use of the beach but nothing that included the pool privileges.

You have to get the room at one of those resorts for the Atlantis pools. They check the armbands carefully.

my3kids is right. We went on our own to THE DIG and in trying to get to Predator Lagoon, I noticed that at almost every corner someone is looking at your armband.

BTW scottie where in Ohio are you from. Lived there for almost 20 years!!!

I guess we may just end up going with a room at the Comfort Suites. If not then we are shooting for the Atlantis Beach Day excursion. So many decisions, So little time!!

We went to the Bahamas in October of 2000, offseason. We stayed at the Marriott for a week. However, we visited Atlantis 3 times. 2 of those times we went swimming, walked around the hotel, ate in their restaurants and gambled. Not once did we show any id, or asked to see any.

We went during the day with bathingsuits on, and I carried a nice beachbag with change of clothes and makeup. After swimming in numerous pools, I changed in one of the bath houses into my evening clothes and slicked my hair back. We then proceded to have dinner and gamble. We also walked through the museum numerous times. We also went shopping and walked down the stairs into one of their beautiful restaurants and looked at the huge fish tanks.

We did everything except go on the slides, as this was where they were checking wrist bands.

This all could be because it was off season. They may be stricter at other times.

We loved the place. Although it is not cheap. The buffet was $39 a person. The food was awesome! Better than one of the restaurants we went to their.
