Use new MYW Dining Plan for Mother's Day Brunch?

Does anyone know if we would be able to use the new Dining Plan towards the Mother's Day Brunch at Epcot? Was planning out the May trip and just thought of that. Thanks!

Most likely, yes.

As long at the restaurant participates in the dining plan, you will be allowed.

We just got back using the silver plan and ate like kings. We used it for the CP dinner package and the Fantasmic package. Also for the Spirit of Aloha dinner show.

That's what I was hoping. The only thing is the brunch takes place at the World Showplace (between Canada and the UK) which is not a normally operated restaurant. Thanks!

Last year it was $29.99 plus tax. If they allow it, it may cost 2 sitdown choices.

I guess this remains to be seen, but my guess would be no. This special event is set up in a building between Canada and England, so it is not a "restaurant" and therefore is not on the MWY dining venue list. Maybe WDW dining will decide to add it to the MYW dining options just for Mother's Day. Anyway, if it is added, this brunch normally costs about $29.99 per adult so I think that would about equal one of the MYW full service meal options, when looking at the menu prices for those restaurants currently participating in MYW (A meal at LeCellier, Kona, etc could easily run more than $29.99 pp with appetizer, entree, dessert, drink and tip). BTW, I have done this brunch before, for Mother's Day in 2002, and I did not think it was all that special. IMHO, I think there are more special restaurants in WDW to celebrate Mother's Day.

My Mom and I have done Mother's Day at WDW 3 times in the past 5 years. We always have dinner at Cinderella's (her choice). We're planning it again this year.
