FIFA International break September 2-10 2024 thread. The USA, Canada, Mexico and the rest of the whole world will be playing International Friendlies, World Cup Qualifiers, or Nation Leagues matches during this period. If you have never watched International soccer before, this is a great time to tune in next month. Every match next month have stakes on the line whether that is International ranking points, wcq table placement, or advancing in Nations League tournament play. In regards to the USA and Canada, we will play each other on September 7th and then the USA plays New Zealand on the 10th while Canada will play Mexico on the same day. These are friendlies for International ranking points. Europe will compete in the UEFA Nations League that week and the other continents will compete in world cup qualifiers or qualifiers for their confederation cup. England, Ireland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Italy, France, and Germany are some of the European teams with high stake matches on the line. Australia is trying to qualify for the 2026 World Cup as well. It's going to be an interesting 2 weeks in September everyone. Who's going to tune in (or ignore it).
