I have put together a recap of our 2 1/2 month, 9500 mile camping trip in some thumb pictures (left to right, top to bottom is chronological). We start with our route map from Pa to PA and compare it to an air miles map from home to Australia. There was only a 500 mile difference. From PA to South Dakota, Cody WY, Yellowstone, Jackson Hole WY, Colorado Springs, Branson MO, Disney World, Manatee Springs, Nashville TN, then back to PA. Thanks for joining us in the ADVENTURE. It was and still is fun. Shirley & John

I really loved the virtual road trip. Thanks for taking the time to share. So when and where is your next adventure ?

:thumbsup2

Denise asks, "What is our next adventure" ?? Great question.

After our last stop in Nashville and heading home toward the end of September, it was really quiet in the truck. It was not a sad quiet, but neither Shirley or I could put our finger on it. But, it was real.

Both of us were a tad bruised, battered, tired and defininetly broke. Broke meaning money, being way over budget.

It was true that Shirley did say "what is New England like this time of year " ?? My YIKES was the answer. In her mind the trip was not over. This is a pretty good snapshot of us. There is no ending. Lots and lots of beginnings.

What to do next year ? What adventure ? I (we) may need some help here because we don't think what we did can be topped, but I remain optimistic.

The easy way is to throw it out to the BOARD members; what would you REALLY like to do Rving ????. I just might steal your idea, but blame it on Shirley.

Shirley, start filling the piggy bank up ! !

PS: Now don't get mad at me (I know, how could you), I would take a bullet for our Camping Dog Toby. Havin' a lil' fun at his expense (picture never posted) I named it;

THE BEST GRIZZLY BEAR REPELLANT--Man's best friend, Mr. Toby. You can see our trip has no ending just other beginnings.

What an amazing journey! Thank you for sharing it with the rest of us!

You can steal ours: we'll be going coast to coast (sorta...starting in Sacramento, CA ending in Fl). We will be going the southern route through Arizona (OK Corral, Native American historical sites and Grand Canyon), New Mexico, Texas (Alamo and Fort Worth zoo...simply to see a live armadillo), La (New Orleans), Alabama, Mississippi, and Fl (Pensacola, Crystal river, Everglades, Orlando). You might do yours in the winter, though. We'll be raveling in 100+ degree weather. Yikes!

Thanks for sharing of all the pictures! It really looks like you guys had a blast. Im so jealous!

To answer Shirley's question, New England is amazing this time of year. I just did a short trip to Boston and across CT to Six Flags New England and it was beautiful.
