If you'd only get to US/IOA around noonish and could stay the day, is it still worth going? We have a 3 day pass, which we are using the 2 days after our DCL cruise. We'd either not use the 3rd day or use it the day before the cruise when we wouldn't get there til around noon.

Would you go that day? We wouldn't have the EP and I'm wondering how much we'd actually get done. Worth it? Or just do a pool day at hotel?
Thanks!

Well, we usually arrive in Orlando around noon on day 1 of our Universal stays, and we always do go ahead and spend the afternoon/rest of the day in the parks! If the options are to go for the afternoon or not go at all, I'd definitely opt to head into the parks. :-) You didn't mention what time of year this would be or what day of the week it would be.... but even on a busy summer day, you'd still be able to get a number of things done in an afternoon.

I'd do it.
We ended up getting to Orlando a day earlier than we thought we would and went to the park around 2pm that afternoon (after finding a hotel). We really enjoyed that extra evening.

Arriving around midday......absolutely worth it :thumbsup2

That is still a good, solid chunk of a day. I would definitely go with the intent of doing our favorites that day or spending a lot of time in Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley.

Better use the day on the pass, and that's not a bad time to arrive
