Just wondering if the Universal parks offer an early entry to the parks like WDW on certain days for on-site hotel guests? When I went to US a few years back for the day, we arrived early in the am at the entrance gates and I noticed that some people we granted entry, while the rest of the masses stayed outside the gates. Someone mentioned at the time, they were hotel guests.???? Could this be true???!!!!
Can anyone let me know..Thanks in advance.

They used to and they may again things change all the time. I think the benefit of staying onsite with Express kinda washes the need for Early Entry.

I believe that the "old" rule was you could use early entry if you were staying on site, had an annual pass, or even just had a multi-day ticket ... the only persons who couldn't use it were single day ticket holders ...

Of course, folks staying on-site have never really needed it (especially back then when we got true front-of-line and not just Express access like we do now).
