US citizens moving to Canada

I just received a job offer for a position in Toronto. Anyone have any budget trips for moving to Toronto from Detroit?

Disneyjamie--perhaps you could post your question on the Canadian board? I am fairly certain there was someone on that board with a similar question a couple of months ago. Oh--and you may not hear from many people for a day or so--this is a long weekend in Ontario, and a lot of people are taking a break. Best of luck on your search!

first off you company will need to help you get a work visa-its not that easy-several years ago i was offered a job in Montreal-the company could not adequately prove that they could not hire someone with the skills to do the job in Canada-so i was denied a Visa.-i was already working for the company and retained my postion in the states for a couple more years before i moved on to something else.
