Ok so today is Tuesday, We are going to Animal Kingdom. This is the park where DH and I had talked about all the pictures he was going to take with super mega expensive camera. There is just one problem, he is mad and doesn't want to take pictures. But I have a plan. I am going to stop every 5 minutes to take pictures, but I am going to let everyone know. All that money I paid for college is going to pay off.
Well, I let everyone sleep in a little. We get to the park at 9:10 and head to Kilamanjaro. (sp? ). We have to wait about 20 minutes, again it is HOT! I let the kids have the camera and they take a million and a half pictures. This makes them "Happy" . The only thing they fight about is who's turn it is to take pictures. I have a lot of "interesting" pictures of the safari, needless to say. I actually enjoyed taking it slow. I kind of got the notion from DH that the whole Disney Nazi (My SIL's term) thing was getting a little ridiculous. So I actually let DD take pictures with Lilo and Stitch, Flick , Minnie , Pocahantas, and Stanley. We got of autographs when the rest of the crew went to Dinoland to ride that spinning-make-me-want-to-puke ride. It's kind of like the Tilt-A-Whirl on steriods. I then take DD to the Dino Dumbo ride and ride. It was nice and tame. We head off to the Rafiki planet watch and plan to get a fastpass to the safari, but there is no wait. We ride again. I was amazed at how many type of animals we saw. It was great. When we got off we went to the conservation station. That is where Stanley was. By this time, DH is starting to warm up. I get some pictures of him petting the animals. I didn't need to pet anything, I touch my kids at home all the time. The kids didn't want to touch them either, but they let me take pictures where they look like they are going to touch them. So I call it the virtual petting zoo. We head back after consuming a Mickey bar. Yum! We then take the trail with the naked mole rats and meerkats.. ESPN kid cornered a CM and started talking about the recent hockey game. I pulled him away and off we went. We didn't get a chance to go to the trail with the tigers, maybe next time. We took in the shows in between, but I had just taken my heart medicine and so I slept through Lion king and Tarzan. Oh well, maybe next time I will plan the meds better. We decided to go back to the hotel after we saw ITTBAB. See, I had planned to see the second show of Fantasmic. We swam, cleaned up, ate and headed back to MGM. Too bad there was no second show. Apparently they stopped having a second show on Tuesdays 2 weeks prior to our arrival. After my mistake, everyone felt sorry for me and were a little less whiny for about 5 minutes when they all fell asleep in the car on the way back from MGM. Moral of the story, ask if they are going to even have a show before you head out.

I feel like I'm a reading a screen play for a hilarious movie with Ben Stiller as the father, and Jenifer Aniston as the mother. The kids sound great. ESPN kid is a hoot. Just reading about how he corners people and starts talking about sports is comedy by itself. How lucky you are to be living this in REAL LIFE!! :sunny:

Sounds like a great family with lots of character and it also sounds like you guys did a lot down there! How fun.

I pet my kids at home so I don't need to pet the animals! Virtual petting zoo! ROFLMAO!
