Urg! I am not happy with the DVC reservation system tonight

I logged online tonight to book a trip in March. The room I wanted was showing available so I went through to book it. It told me I needed to borrow about 10 points to make the reservation and so I did that. It let me go through all the way to the end to review my reservation details. When I clicked Confirm it gave me some sort of error message saying this service was not available at the moment and to try again later and kicked me out. Well for the next 15 minutes, I tried making the same reservation, logging in, and not getting past the availability and book page, and kept getting kicked out. Finally, I was able to get in and, of course, the room I wanted was no longer available. What makes me mad is that it still borrowed the points, even though I technically never got to book the room I wanted. :confused3
 
The borrowed points shouldn't be confirmed until the booking goes through are you sure they are actually borrowed.

If they are I'd call MS and ask for them to be put back due to the booking not working
 
Did you try again a little later? The system usually puts a hold on the room for 20 minutes and if you get bumped out you often can get it back. I have way too much experience with that. :sad2: I'm very sorry to hear that it's happening again as I hadn't had it occur for several weeks and I thought DVC was past that issue. There were lots of website problems today.
 
Had a similar experience last week using Internet Explorer. Called member services (did get the villa I wanted no problem), and discussed the web issue with them. I was advised to use google Chrome. I did try Chrome and had no issues.
