Ugh! One of the items I ordered from Amazon got sent to my old address in Utah (currrently, I'm in Connecticut). You know how the Amazon account always remembers your addresses? Well, I'd wondered how to delete my old addresses, but never had figured it out. I must've accidentally hit the wrong address for shipping destination.
So, I emailed Amazon and called UPS. I haven't heard back from Amazon, but UPS told me that "if" I call them when the package has arrived in Utah but before it has been sent out for delivery that they "might" be able to reroute it for me. It seems that with all of the computerization, they ought to be able to put a "tag" in the computer system that would alert them when the package arrives at Salt Lake that it needs to be rerouted.
Also, the new home owners must not be listed because I can't get a "reverse address" search to turn up their name(s) and phone number to give them a heads up to refuse delivery.
Any suggestions?
