Can the ultimate park hopper tickets be used between the theme parks and water parks in one day?

We were thinking of going to a water park for half a day and MK for the other half. Would that be using up 2 days?

I know you can hop between the theme parks using 1 day but I don't know what happens with water parks.

Yes. That's the beauty of the UPH. You can go wherever you want, whenever you want. We're hooked on them.:D

Our last trip, we tried the 6 day PHP passes for our 8 day trip, but I just didn't like the limitations - even if we went to a park for only half a day, it used a whole day on the pass! And now we have 4 passes with two plus features left...

Our other 2 trips, we used UPH. It costs a bit more, but the room keys and passes were combined on one card (instead of trying to keep track of 8 cards, we only misplaced 4 every day, LOL!) and there was no need to keep a tally of days used, because, as grinningghost pointed out, they get you into every park and DQ for the length of your trip.

I think it's worth the extra $$ for UPH, just for the freedom to go from park to waterpark, back to park, etc!

The problem with UPH tickets is, if you don't use them everyday and take advantage of the water parks, Disney Quest and Pleasure Island then you've wasted money. With the PHP passes (which are cheaper) if you don't use all of it you can bring it back with you as it never expires.

When we were there in December we were unable to use our UPH passes one day because my son got sick. It would have been less expensive if we had gotten PHP passes.

Don't the Length of Stay UPH passes expire? I like getting the Park Hoppers that never expire.

UPH's do expire. They're good from the time you check in until midnight of your check out day. There's good and bad points, but for us, the good outweighs the bad.

If you purchase your UPH at the resort you can take the first or last day of your pass if you arrive late or are departinging early. They are more expensive than if purchased though CRO however the savings might out weight the increase cost.
