UPH days and discount question

I think it is possible if you arrive late on the first day to have them take off the first day of the UPH? Has anyone done this and gotten the 10% discount?

It is up to the discretion of the CM at the front desk.

Many here have reported that they have successfully dropped both the first and last day of their stay when purchasing UPH tickets at a DVC resort (with the discount).

Can't believe you will be denied.

I do it often. You need to tell them at check in and not when you get the bill. You can drop the first and/or last night only.
