Upgrading WDW PAP

Has anyone upgraded the DVC discounted premium plus annual pass to a premier passport? Do they credit the price you paid for it or the value of it? Debating upgrading to the premier while in DL in October vs just getting a DL AP. Would love to hear any experiences with this! Thanks!!

That's what I figured. It will be around the same price to upgrade vs just purchase a DL PAP so I'll probably just buy a separate DL one. Thanks for your response!

what my wife and I have done in the past is buy discounted tickets from undercover tourist and then used those to upgrade. that way you get a little discount since they credit the value of the ticket (its not like they know how much you paid for it). Now that DL AP renewal discounts are gone, we may have to do this again

Do you know if you can combine upgrading a ticked from UT with the whopping $20 discount that DVC members get (if they still even offer it)? Thanks for the great idea!

lol I have no idea, I'd bet a quick call to member services would answer that question
