Me and the bf decided on a last minute trip which we just booked last night for May 5-7, so we'll have 1.5 days in the park. Planning to arrive around 10:30am May 5, leaving 3pm May 7, meaning we will spend May 5-6 (Sat-Sun) in the parks. Our first time at DL after going to WDW a few times, can't wait :cool1:

So our preliminary plan is to hit DCA after we check-in to PPH on the Saturday, since it is a shorter day and from the boards it seems as though DCA could be done in less time. I really want to watch WoC (after seeing many shots of it on YouTube), so that is pretty much my main attraction of the day at DCA. Next day we are planning to go full day for DL, but unfortunately there are no MM that day due to the AIDs walk in the morning :confused3

That said, we are thinking of getting the 2-day 1-park tickets (the difference is $13 per person to PH, which is pretty big since we are still on a budget). I am worried if I miss WoC on Saturday, I won't be able to watch it again since I'll be in DL on Sunday.

So is it possible to upgrade on Sunday morning or Saturday night to a PH for the Sunday if WoC for some reason does not get showed? Will I be charged the full difference for the 2-day PH even though there is only 1 day left on the ticket?

Any time while you are there you will be able to go to a ticket booth and pay the difference to hopper. Assuming the booths are open which they are while the parks are open. If you can you may want to go Sunday too. It will be crowded on the weekend and there is a lot to see on a first visit.

I believe that they will charge you for the full park hopper ticket, not just partial days that you haven't used... but I could be wrong on this.

I am sure someone else can speak to this.

If you have a two day, 1 park per day ticket that costs $158. You pay the difference, $15, to make it a 2 day hopper. Do it at the ticket booths, this is exactly what will happen.
