Upgrading to Concierge at Poly

hello everyone!
this is my first posting but i've been visiting the board for a couple of weeks now and i can't begin to tell you helpful it's been for me! Thanks!!!!
Now for my question. I'm booked into the Poly in September and i'm considering upgrading to concierge. I have already paid in full for the stay and was wondering if it's possible to upgrade at check-in and how much would it be. Has anyone had any experience doing this?

I actually tried upgrading for months before we arrived, nothing available. Well when we arrived I decided to ask at the counter, Poly rep says garden view $880 extra , lagoon view $1450 extra.

Gee, let me think, (1 second later), we'll take the lagoon view.

So yes, you can upgrade at check in, this was for 10 nights.

Caution: Once you go concierge's you'll never want to go anything else.

Actually, yeah I think it was, I think we saved like $85 per night over what's quoted as regular price. The only thing is you realize it's not a definite that you would get it, I don't know if we got lucky or what.

Our dates were kind of weird to so I was surprised when he told me he had both garden and lagoon views. We were there June 20th thru June 30th.

As a comparison for you, total was $4100 for 10 nights, tax included for Concierge's Lagoon View.

When we were there in May I asked about upgrading and it would have cost 70.00 to upgrade to GVC.
