Did anyone upgrade to the Inspire card for a recent DVC purchase? I am trying to decide how I would like to split payment and am not convinced I want to apply for another card. I already have the basic card so I wouldnt be eligible for the $600 sign on bonus, which kinda kills the deal besides the 3% vs 1% rewards. It also offers $200 back on $2000 spent at Disney or DCL yearly-I was curious if DVC dues would count. I was thinking I could always upgrade to the Inspire for a year to max out Disney rewards on the large purchase and then downgrade back to the basic card but I wasnt sure how that would work with Chase, I have never downgraded a card--is it common?

Oh, you're probably eligible. I have the basic card. They sent me an email with $300 Disney GC and $300 statement credit after spending $1k. Plus 3% on DVC purchase. Plus six months no interest on DVC purchase.

Since there is a board thread about it and the question regarding DVC has been answered, questions can continue there!
